Why Our Pre-Workout Gel Is Different
This isn't a post to tell you we have "the perfect formula." It doesn't exist. It's a post to explain why we made certain decisions when creating our pre-workout gel and who it makes sense for (and who it probably doesn't).
In 30 Seconds
- We chose the gel format because it's practical: ready to consume and easy to carry.
- Each sachet is 50 g (generally fits within standard cabin liquid rules, though it always depends on security control).
- As far as we know, it was the first pre-workout gel manufactured in Spain.
- We opted for a broad formula: 14 ingredients, organized into 3 pillars (energy, anti-fatigue, and recovery).
- We based it on references we collected in the ingredients route, where we also list the scientific references.
- We want a "powerful but tolerable" approach for the average athlete: not everyone seeks (nor tolerates) extremely aggressive pre-workouts.
1) The Format: Why a Gel (and Not a Powder)
Most pre-workouts on the market are powders. They work, but they have friction:
- You need a shaker/water.
- Prior preparation.
- Sometimes, inconvenient logistics when you're in a hurry or traveling.
The gel format tries to reduce all that to something simple: open, take, and train. And yes, it's convenient to carry in your gym bag, in the car... and also when you travel.
2) 50 g and the "Real" Part of Daily Life
It seems like a small thing, but size matters. A small sachet is easy to:
- Store in a backpack.
- Take without water.
- Carry on a trip.
About the plane: the gel counts as a liquid/gel. Being 50 g, it normally falls within the standard cabin limit (100 ml), but it can always depend on the airport and security control.
3) The Formula: 14 Ingredients Doesn't Mean "Better for Everyone"
After analyzing many formulas, we saw two common extremes:
- Very "simple" products (few ingredients, sometimes with high doses of a single stimulant).
- Very "loaded" products that can be too intense for some people.
Our bet is a broad formula of 14 ingredients to cover 3 objectives:
- Energy: focus and availability to push in sets/intervals.
- Anti-fatigue: support for intense effort tolerance.
- Recovery: ingredients oriented towards post-workout support (without promising shortcuts).
Is this "better" than a powder pre-workout? It depends. A more complete formula can be useful if it suits you, but it doesn't replace the basics (sleep, training, nutrition) and doesn't sit well with everyone.

4) For Short and Intense Activities (and Why It's Not a Carbohydrate Gel)
The market is full of gels designed for long endurance: they usually provide carbohydrates (maltodextrin, cyclodextrin, etc.) to sustain energy for hours. That makes sense in its context.
Our pre-workout gel tries to occupy another niche: activities of relatively short duration but high intensity, where in addition to "fuel" you might be interested in focus, the feeling of drive, and effort tolerance.
And they are not mutually exclusive: in long sports, it can make sense to complement it with carbohydrate gels (or with an intake strategy during the event).
5) "Powerful, but Milder": Who We Try to Serve
Many pre-workouts work very well for people seeking very strong sensations (and who tolerate high doses of stimulants). The problem is that leaves out many people who train hard but don't want extreme peaks or discomfort.
Our goal has been to build something that:
- Provides an extra boost of energy and focus when you need it.
- Doesn't force you to "play roulette" with your stomach or sleep.
- Is useful both on normal days and on competition or personal best days.
And, as always, tolerance rules: if you are sensitive to caffeine or train late, it might not suit you (or you might have to adjust).
6) Transparency and Continuous Improvement
In /ingredientes we don't just list what's in it: we also include a block of scientific references (as of today, 42). Still, this doesn't make the product "perfect": it means we try to work with evidence and be transparent.
We also want to be clear about another thing: we are happy with the current formulation, but we are open to improvements and exploring other flavors in the future.
Conclusion
Our pre-workout gel is different because of concrete decisions: ready-to-use gel format, practical size (50 g), a broad formula of 14 ingredients organized into 3 pillars, and an attempt to balance performance with tolerance for a wider audience than the "ultra" niche.
